Job summary

Televic Rail is seeking a Financial Accountant to support daily accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensure timely invoicing, payments and VAT compliance. You will stress accurate processing, proactive credit control and clear stakeholder communication across Finance and the wider business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field is required or equivalent experience.
• First experience in credit control, accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
• Hands-on with Excel; SAP FI experience is a plus.
• Proactive, initiative-taking and deadline-driven with structured work style.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a varied range of AR and AP activities including invoices, credit notes and approvals.
• Monitor receivables and perform proactive credit control with professional diplomacy.
• Prepare and execute payment runs and allocate payments accurately.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support month-end closing and ensure accurate financial data.
• Process Belgian VAT rules and intra-community transactions correctly.
• Respond to accounting questions with a solution-oriented approach.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to efficient processes.
