E-Resourcing Ltd is seeking an Application Platform Manager / Technical Service Owner to take end-to-end responsibility for critical engineering applications across their lifecycle.

You will combine hands-on Windows/Linux infrastructure, cloud and container platforms with product ownership, vendor management and financial governance to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Windows and Linux server experience for deployment and maintenance.
• Experience architecting infra planning for customized applications.
• Licensing tools expertise: FlexLM/LMtools and renewals coordination.
• ALM platforms knowledge, e.g., PTC products.
• Experience with application upgrades, migrations, and DR activities.
• Cross-functional collaboration for design and delivery.

Application Platform Manager / Technical Service Owner

Job Description

This role requires a highly versatile Application Platform Manager / Technical Service

Owner who can take end-to-end responsibility for business-critical engineering

applications throughout their lifecycle.

The individual must combine hands-on expertise in Windows/Linux infrastructure, cloud and container platforms, application deployment, upgrades, disaster recovery, license management, and ALM platforms with strong product and project management capabilities.

They are expected to work closely with business stakeholders to define roadmaps, manage requirements and backlogs, coordinate suppliers, oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgets, and ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement of services.

In essence, the role sits at the intersection of infrastructure operations, application management, product ownership, vendor management, and financial governance, acting as the single accountable owner for both the technical platform and the value it delivers to the business.

Infra operations & app management:

• Hands-on experience in Windows and Linux server platform for performing application deployment and its maintenance.
• Experience in architecting the infrastructure planning for the implementation of customized application.
• Experience in managing the license servers and its tools eg: FlexLM or LMtools to handle the license update, troubleshooting, supplier co-ordination for renewals.
• Experience in administrating and managing the ALM platform Eg: PTC products.
• Must have experience in managing the application upgrades, migration and involving DR activities.
• Experience working with cross functional teams for designing and project delivery.
• Must be flexible to support off-business hours for handling upgrade and migration activities when needed.
• Good understanding and knowledge in containerization platform eg: AWS ECS or any other platform.
• Good understanding and knowledge in full stack infra technologies.
• Provide end user support of R&D Engineers for the customized applications and solve the BAU issues.

Project Management :

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Translate customer needs and insights into detailed product requirements and user stories in JIRA tool.
• Prioritize features and manage the product backlog to maximize customer and business value.
• Collaborate closely with business team, engineering/design, and cross-functional teams to deliver project in timely fashion by following the PMO process.
• Monitoring the performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvements post-launch of the product.
• Engage with product owners and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure successful product adoption and provide support.
• Manage product budgets in both CAPEX/OPEX, involving in PO activities, forecast financial impact, and make data-driven decisions to optimize costs in long-run.
