ENTICO ICT is seeking a Senior Project Leader & Functional Analyst to join their team in Brussels. This hybrid role requires strong leadership in managing software development projects and coordinating between business stakeholders and Agile teams.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of IT experience, including significant Agile exposure and a solid understanding of functional analysis.

You'll contribute to critical Java applications, driving the improvement and evolution within a complex environment.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Leader & Functional Analyst to join a team responsible for business-critical Java applications that support real-time operational processes.

This hybrid role combines project leadership, functional analysis, and technical coordination. You will manage software development projects from initiation to delivery while acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and Agile development teams. Working alongside multiple Scrum teams, you will contribute to the continuous improvement, quality, and evolution of enterprise applications in a complex, high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software development projects from initiation to delivery.
• Manage project scope, planning, budget, risks, quality, and timelines.
• Coordinate functional analysis, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively.
• Communicate effectively with management, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Functional Analysis

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritisation.
• Maintain functional documentation.
• Act as the primary functional contact for business-critical applications.
• Ensure smooth collaboration between business, IT, and operations teams.

Required Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT software development projects.
• Minimum 10 years of Agile/Scrum experience.
• Minimum 10 years as Project Leader and/or Scrum Master.
• Minimum 10 years as Functional Analyst.
• Extensive experience writing user stories and managing Agile backlogs.
• Proven experience facilitating Agile workshops and ceremonies.
• Experience analysing incidents and prioritising corrective actions.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
