Job summary

Ardena Gent is seeking an Associate Group Leader Analytical Development to guide analytical method development and GMP QC analysis for a worldwide client portfolio. You will lead development projects, translate client goals into robust methods, and serve as the analytical expert in project teams.

You will manage day-to-day activities of (Associate) Analytical Scientists, collaborate with engineering, ensure adherence to budgets and timelines, and report to the Director Analytical Development.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc with several years of experience in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
• Experience in developing chromatographic analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC/GC) and MS detection.
• Experience with spectroscopic techniques (UV-Vis, FTIR).
• GMP environment experience a plus.
• Ability to lead projects and manage timelines and budgets.
• AI savviness is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical expert for analytical method development and GMP QC analysis; translate client goals into high-quality analytical methods.
• Lead implementation of new analytical techniques in the lab with engineering support.
• Oversee day-to-day management of (Associate) Analytical Scientists in development and GMP activities; develop methods and perform QC release testing.
• Ensure projects align with budgets and timelines; mentor analysts in the team.
• Report to the Director Analytical Development.
