imec in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Pilot Line Process Engineer for Atomic Layer Deposition. You will follow up process and tool qualification, investigate root causes and drive improvements in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

The role requires a Master in Science or Engineering, strong communication, autonomy and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. English fluency is essential in this international setting, with a two-shift work pattern including occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Master in Science or in Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
• Ability to rapidly adapt to changing priorities with short notice.
• Process and quality driven problem solver managing multiple priorities.
• Takes ownership and works autonomously.
• Strong communication and reporting skills for cross functional teams.
• Flexible team player who shares knowledge with colleagues.
• Fluency in English is a must because of the international environment.

Responsabilités

• Daily follow-up of process and tool qualification, stability, improvements and problem prevention.
• Troubleshoots issues related to processing and enables first and second line trouble shooters to step up.
• Investigates recurring issues, focusing on root cause analysis and structural solutions.
• Keeps focus on quality and reproducibility, monitoring stability and taking actions in case of process fluctuations.
• Designs experimental plans and executes them in the cleanroom, performs data analysis and reports and documents findings.
• Works in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment in close cooperation with researchers, hardware engineers, operations, industry assignees, device and process experts.
• Works in a two-shifts system (Early/Late) including 1 weekend (Sa/Su) out of 4.
