ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is seeking a Senior IT Change Manager to drive a major IS Transformation and NIS2 programme in Brussels. You will design adoption strategies, develop KPIs, coach teams, and promote Security by Design across IT, cybersecurity and business areas.

You’ll work with Programme governance, stakeholders and Change Ambassadors to ensure sustainable adoption of new processes, tools, and responsibilities within a large-scale organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Change Manager/Change Manager.
• Strong experience in organisational transformation within IT environments.
• Experience in large and complex organisations, public sector or similarly structured environments.

ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for a Senior IT Change Manager to support a major IS Transformation and NIS2 / Cybersecurity programme within a complex and large-scale organisation in Brussels. This is a key role at the intersection of Change Management, IT Transformation and Cybersecurity, where you will help teams and managers understand, adopt and sustainably integrate new ways of working, processes, responsibilities and security practices.

Your Mission

• Define and implement the Change Management strategy and roadmap for the IS Transformation and NIS2 programmes.
• Develop and monitor adoption strategies, KPIs and dashboards and provide regular reporting to programme governance.
• Conduct organisational, business, process, technology and skills impact assessments.
• Identify and analyse key stakeholders and assess their level of engagement.
• Identify potential resistance to change and establish appropriate mitigation and action plans.
• Develop and coordinate communication and awareness plans related to transformation and NIS2.
• Support the adoption of new cybersecurity processes, controls, tools and responsibilities.
• Promote the integration of Security by Design principles into projects and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and support a network of Change Ambassadors and Security Champions.
• Create manager toolkits, communication materials and adoption support packages.
• Design and coordinate NIS2 awareness and adoption campaigns.
• Coach and support project teams, Product Owners, Project Managers, managers and critical teams throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Work closely with the broader NIS2 Change Management team to ensure consistency between IS-specific initiatives and the wider cybersecurity programme.
• Measure behavioural and organisational adoption using ADKAR principles and relevant Change Management KPIs.

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior IT Change Manager / Change Manager.
• Strong experience in organisational transformation, particularly within Information Systems / IT environments.
• Experience working in large and complex organisations.
• Previous experience in the public sector or similarly structured environments.
• Strong knowledge of Change Management methodologies, ideally including ADKAR.
• Good understanding of IT Service Management / ITIL processes.
• Good understanding of Information Security and cybersecurity challenges.
• Familiarity with NIS2, cybersecurity governance or security transformation is a strong asset.
• Experience with stakeholder management, communication, coaching and adoption measurement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, active listening and empathy.
• Ability to identify, understand and manage resistance to change.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders and programme teams.
• Resilience, adaptability and a strong results-oriented mindset.
• French or Dutch: Native / bilingual proficiency.
• English: Professional working proficiency.
