Pauwels Consulting in Brussels seeks a senior project manager to lead ICT security initiatives within a comprehensive compliance program. You will manage security projects, drive service transitions to operation, and ensure audit-ready documentation while guiding cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in PM with KPI and cost-time-quality control, expertise across multiple security domains, and PRINCE2 or equivalent methodologies. English fluency preferred; Dutch/French advantageous.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience including WBS, KPI management, and cost-time-quality control.
• Experience in at least three security domains: IAM, PAM, PIM, DLP, or Network Security.
• PRINCE2 or other formal project management methodologies.
• Security frameworks such as NIS2, ISO27001, NIST, or DORA.
• Experience delivering project documentation and evidence for audit/compliance.
• Change Management experience and stakeholder alignment for organizational impact.
• Proactive leadership and strong coaching/organizational skills.
• Written summary (max 20 lines) of essential components of an enterprise security program and risk management.

Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is seeking a professional to lead security initiatives within a comprehensive compliance program. The role focuses on managing ICT security projects to ensure organizational alignment with international standards and managing the transition of technical solutions into operational status.

• Manage the successful implementation of ICT security projects with a focus on planning, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Lead the service transition process to ensure security solutions reach operational status with proper procedures and support.
• Coordinate the timely delivery and quality control of evidence and documentation for audit readiness and compliance reporting.
• Execute change management processes and communication plans to support project evolution within the organization.
• Provide advisory support to management and business units while facilitating cross-departmental collaboration.
• Guide and motivate project teams and involved staff throughout the project lifecycle.

• 8+ years of project management experience including WBS, KPI management, and cost-time-quality control.
• You possess professional experience in at least three security domains such as IAM, PAM, PIM, DLP, or Network Security.
• You're certified in or have proven experience with PRINCE2 or other formal project management methodologies.
• You have experience or certification in security frameworks such as NIS2, ISO27001, NIST, or DORA.
• You bring experience in delivering project documentation and evidence for audit and compliance purposes.
• You have experience in Change Management and stakeholder alignment for projects with organizational impact.
• You're proactive and possess strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.
• You possess a written summary (maximum 20 lines) outlining essential components of an enterprise security program and its contribution to risk management.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French with passive knowledge of the other and active knowledge of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with DRP, Threat Modelling, and DB-anonymization.
• Knowledge of Central Logging and Endpoint Security.
• Familiarity with visualization techniques for technical reporting.
