Cognizant is seeking an AI & Shift Left Architect to lead the shift-left quality strategy and AI-led engineering transformation for a major Belgian financial institution. You will work with client architects, product owners, and agile teams to define target architectures, build AI accelerators, and embed quality earlier across delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test architecture or engineering practice roles.
• Hands-on GenAI and LLM expertise applied to engineering use cases.
• Deep shift-left knowledge: TDD/BDD, unit testing, API and contract testing, quality gate design.
• Test automation across Selenium and Playwright, REST API automation in Java, Python or JavaScript.
• CI/CD toolchain experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab or Jenkins; cloud exposure (Azure/AWS).
• Banking or regulated financial services background.
• Agile at scale (SAFe, ARTs) with cross-functional programs.
• Strong client-facing communication; able to influence senior stakeholders.
• English proficiency; French/Dutch is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the shift-left testing strategy across value streams and trains.
• Design and implement AI accelerators and agents for requirement analysis, test design, and code quality.
• Conduct AS-IS assessments and define TO-BE architecture with adoption roadmap.
• Build reusable assets: prompt libraries, frameworks, governance structures.
• Define and track measurable outcomes: cycle time, defect leakage, cost of quality.
• Run workshops with client architects and coach teams on AI-assisted practices.
