Oper is seeking an AI-native DevOps Engineer based in Belgium to join the Engineering team and keep the Herman AI agent and our SaaS product fast, reliable, and secure as we scale across Europe.

You will own infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workloads, collaborating with developers in a regulated fintech environment. This hybrid Antwerp-based role offers a unique chance to shape an agentic platform with multi-cloud tech.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience.
• Strong cloud experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab or GitHub.
• Solid scripting skills (Python preferred; Bash or TS welcome).
• Collaborates closely with developers and non-developers in a regulated fintech environment.
• AI-native mindset: comfortable with agentic workflows and tooling.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, curious mindset.

Responsabilités

• Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure for Herman and the SaaS product.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, repeatable, safe deployments.
• Run Kubernetes workloads with GitOps using Argo CD.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code on GCP and IBM Cloud.
• Support developers and non-developers; unblock deployments and debugging.
• Own security and compliance to stay audit-ready in a regulated fintech.
• Participate in on-call duties and contribute to reliability and uptime.
