Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking a Product Owner for Finance & Accounting to lead a digital transformation program. You will define the product vision, roadmap and backlog for AI-enabled finance processes, driving automation and stronger controls across month-end and year-end close.

You will work with Accounting, Internal Controls, Treasury and Tax to deliver measurable improvements, manage stakeholders, and ensure governance and auditability across a global finance function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Product Owner, BA or similar for Finance/Accounting tech solutions.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end R2R processes: GL, close, reconciliations, intercompany, consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the AI-first Finance product vision and roadmap.
• Lead transformation of end-to-end Record-to-Report with focus on month-/year-end close.
• Prioritize AI, agentic workflows and automation across journals and reconciliations.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories for Finance tools.
• Collaborate with dev teams through backlog grooming and sprint planning.
