Bluecrux in Belgium is hiring an AI Engineer to build AI applications, agents and integrations for internal teams and clients. This hands-on role focuses on delivering value through reliable Python services and well-designed AI components.

Medior or senior candidates welcome; responsibilities scale with experience. You will collaborate with consultants, product and delivery teams, and travel internationally in a hybrid work model to meet client needs.

Qualifications

Two+ years of relevant experience; senior candidates typically five+ years.
Strong hands-on Python development experience.
Built/delivered apps using generative AI, LLMs or AI agents.
Experience with APIs, integrations and tool calling.

Responsabilités

Build and deploy LLM applications, AI agents and automations.
Develop reliable Python services, APIs, connectors and tool-calling integrations.
Translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Build reusable AI components and delivery accelerators.
Design prompts, tests and evaluations to improve quality, security and reliability.
Work with consultants, architects, product and delivery teams, and clients.
