Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Belgium is seeking an AI Adoption Lead to drive division-wide AI-assisted and agentic engineering across all software teams—developers, testers, business analysts and product owners. You will lead a community of practice, demos, hackathons and lunch sessions to make AI adoption normal across the delivery organisation.

You will build prototypes and reference implementations, coach people, shape standards and governance, and track adoption, productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• To succeed, you have led or enabled others to change how they work in practice.
• You can translate complex AI concepts for product owners, testers and developers.
• At least 5 years of production-level software development and delivery experience.
• You are comfortable across multiple stacks (.NET, Python, Matlab, Flutter, data/embedded).
• You have demonstrable use of AI coding/agentic tools on real projects.
• You understand evolving cost models of AI agents and security implications.
• You are familiar with SDLC, governance, security and compliance.
• You are fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead division-wide adoption of AI-assisted engineering across all software teams.
• Create the community of practice: demos, showcases, hackathons, lunch sessions.
• Bring non-developers along with use cases in their own language.
• Build prototypes, demos and reference implementations and share patterns.
• Grow contributors and own the framework, quality, and curation.
• Design and deliver training, coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Define governance, standards and ROI measurement for AI-enabled work.
• Track tooling and investments in AI agents and related tech.
