SII Group Belgium is seeking a System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced systems used in civilian and military environments, working with clients to define solutions and ensure successful implementation.

You will lead architecture definition, draft technical specs, coordinate IVVQ milestones, and create design documents. A Master’s in Engineering and 3–5 years’ experience are required, with expertise in

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field).
• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with full development lifecycle processes: requirements gathering, design, development and integration.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end system design, third-party integration and prototyping of electronic/IT systems.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, and Hypervisors).
• Experience with DOORS, Polarion, Capella, Enterprise Architect.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (B2+); French is a plus.
• EU citizenship required; security clearance may be requested after hiring.

• Understand and analyze client needs to propose tailored technical solutions.
• Contribute to the system architecture definition and ensure it meets customer requirements.
• Lead the system specification process and support technical discussions with clients.
• Draft technical specifications and provide input for selecting subcontractors for subsystem components.
• Manage the creation of key technical documentation, including design and configuration documents, user manuals, and test plans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define milestones in IVVQ.
• Configure and prepare equipment for PoC demonstrations.
• Offer expert guidance in your domain and assist clients in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of system components (hardware and software) with design specifications.
• Assemble system components to evaluate overall performance, interactions, and functionality.
