Job summary

Groupe SII Belgium is seeking a System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced systems used in civilian and military environments.

You’ll work with clients to define solutions, lead the IVVQ process, and create technical documentation and PoC demos. A strong electronics/IT background and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field)
• At least 3/5 years of professional experience
• Experience with full development lifecycle processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, and integration.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end system design, third-party integration, and prototyping of electronic/IT systems.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, and Hypervisors...)
• Experience with tools like DOORS, Polarion, Capella, Enterprise Architect...
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus
• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying updated on new technologies
• Ability to work independently and proactively while being an effective team player
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (B2 or higher); knowledge of French is a plus
• EU member citizenship is required, and security clearance will be requested after hiring.

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define key milestones in the integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) process.
• Configure and prepare equipment for Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations.
• Offer expert guidance in your domain and assist clients in resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of system components (hardware and software) with design specifications and requirements.
• Assemble system components to evaluate overall performance, interactions, and functionality.
