Capgemini Belgium is seeking an aerospace engineer to design and optimise compressor blades and aerofoils, balancing performance, efficiency, and operability margins. You will collaborate with mechanical and design teams to ensure coherent integration of aerodynamic solutions within the system.

You will contribute to multi-disciplinary trade-off studies, support aerodynamic test campaigns, and produce technical notes, calculation notes, and design guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in aerospace, fluid mechanics or related.
  • Experience or strong academic background in turbomachinery or aerodynamic design.
  • Ability to communicate with mechanical and structural teams to support decisions.

Responsabilités

  • Design and optimise compressor blade profiles and aerofoils to meet performance, efficiency and operability targets.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary trade-off studies integrating aerodynamic with mechanical constraints.
  • Support aerodynamic test campaigns to validate design choices.
