PwC Belgium offers an actuarial services opportunity where you apply your actuarial skills to support audit engagements and consulting services across insurance, pensions, and other sectors. Topics include Solvency II, IFRS, economic capital, risk management, and financial modelling.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Apply actuarial skills to support audit engagements and consulting services in various industries (insurance, pension funds, etc.).
• Work on topics such as Solvency II, IFRS (IFRS17, IAS19), economic capital, risk management, and financial modelling.
• Contribute to the efficiency of claims handling or reporting frameworks, and explore AI and big data opportunities.
• Collaborate with PwC teams across disciplines to deliver high-quality client solutions.

Your impact

A career within Actuarial Services, will provide you with the opportunity to apply your actuarial skills and knowledge by supporting audit engagements and by your involvement in consulting services. In both cases, you will be confronted with various industries: insurance, pension funds but also any other sector when it goes over pension and employee benefits accounting. Topics can range widely: Solvency II, IFRS (IFRS17, IAS19, …), economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring, risk & control frameworks, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims handling or reporting frameworks, but also AI and big data.... So you will definitely be extending and deepening your knowledge and skill set. PwC is a great place to kick‑start your career as an actuary.

About You

• You are currently completing a master’s in actuarial sciences, (applied) mathematics, (applied) economics, quantitative finance, civil engineering, business engineering or another relevant degree via a second master’s or PhD.
• Born team player with a sense of initiative.
• Communicative, eager to learn and looking to develop and grow further.
• Eager to learn.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French (required) and English.
