Your impact
- Help clients meet and manage their accounting obligations in Belgium (maintaining accounting records, interim closings and management reporting), indirect tax returns, statutory financial statements, etc.
- Assist multinational clients in setting up and structuring their accounting organization and propose solutions for optimizing their financial and tax‑related reporting.
- Assist global clients with converting from Group GAAP (US GAAP, IFRS) to local GAAP and help them set up a compliant accounting ERP platform, both for Belgian companies and on a global scale (liaising with our PwC network).
- Analyze, structure and present accounting data to provide increased insights, helping clients leverage opportunities using the newest tools and technologies.
- Guide junior consultants to deliver results responsibly, authentically and passionately, working in close cooperation with colleagues specialized in Tax Consulting, Audit and Business Advisory, and with international PwC accounting and tax teams.
About you
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and Taxation or a master’s degree in (Applied) Economic Sciences or Commercial Sciences.
- Digital acumen (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx).
- People skills, teamwork and global acumen.
- Some knowledge of international GAAP (IFRS/US) is a valuable asset.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role or organization – consultancy feeling needed.
- Good understanding of general accounting procedures and legislation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and any accounting software.
- Fluent language skills in English, Dutch and French.
