EXMAR Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to strengthen the Finance team at our Antwerp HQ. The role oversees accounting, closing and reporting for multiple subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and BE GAAP, reporting to the Head of Consolidation & Accounting.

You will ensure timely closures, supervise GL accountants, and drive process improvements while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy is required.
• Minimum 5 years of General Ledger accounting experience.
• Strong people-management and deadline discipline.
• Solid IFRS and Belgian GAAP knowledge; VAT and corporate tax basics.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Oversee closing activities and review monthly/quarterly trial balances.
• Manage quarterly group reporting submissions.
• Review yearly statutory accounts and liaise with audit/legal teams.
• Guide and assist GL accountants; identify automation opportunities.
