EXMAR Group in Antwerp HQ is seeking an Accounting Manager to reinforce the Finance team. The role covers accounting, closing and reporting for several subsidiaries in line with IFRS and BE GAAP, reporting to Head of Consolidation & Accounting.

You will lead closing activities, review trial balances, liaise with audit and legal, mentor GL accountants and drive automation and efficiency improvements. Fluent in English and Dutch, you bring 5 years in GL accounting and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• 5 years’ experience in General Ledger Accounting (A-Z).
• Proven ability to meet strict internal/external reporting deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Follow up closing activities and review monthly/quarterly trial balances.
• Review yearly statutory accounts and communicate with audit & legal department.
• Follow up, guide and assist the GL accountants.
• Define actions for further automation and/or efficiency improvement.
