BEA Sensors Europe is seeking an Accounting and Tax Manager to lead the Accounting team, ensure reliable financial reporting, and maintain robust internal controls in an international setting.

You will drive monthly closings, tax compliance, and process improvements while partnering with local and Group stakeholders to support governance and strategic objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, semi-annual and annual closing processes with Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Halma Group requirements.
• Oversee all accounting activities and provide guidance on complex accounting matters.
• Manage corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing and other direct/indirect taxes, liaising with external advisors and tax authorities.
• Strengthen internal control environment and support risk management and governance initiatives.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors and address findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to finance function modernization through process optimization, automation and digitalization.
• Lead, coach and develop the Accounting team to foster ownership, collaboration and learning.

To support our growth and strengthen our Finance organization, we are looking for an Accounting and Tax Manager.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead our Accounting team and play a key role in ensuring the reliability of our financial information, the robustness of our internal controls and full compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

This position combines technical expertise, people leadership and continuous improvement in an international environment.

Mission

As our Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be responsible for the integrity of BEA’s financial and tax operations and act as a trusted partner for both local and Group stakeholders.

You Will

• Lead the monthly, semi-annual and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Halma Group requirements.
• Oversee all accounting activities, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and ensuring the quality and reliability of financial data.
• Manage BEA's tax compliance framework, including corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing and other direct and indirect tax matters, while acting as a key contact for external advisors and tax authorities.
• Drive and continuously strengthen our internal control environment, ensuring compliance with Group policies and supporting risk management and governance initiatives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating audits and ensuring efficient resolution of findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to the modernization of the Finance function through process optimization, automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the Accounting team, creating an environment that encourages ownership, collaboration and continuous learning.
