Job summary

Sander Brussels, in partnership with an international technology group near La Roche-en-Ardenne, seeks an Accountant to strengthen its Finance team. The role starts with a focus on purchase accounting, with opportunities to broaden responsibilities as you develop.

You will join a multicultural environment with 30+ nationalities, support monthly closings, and contribute to ERP data integrity. A 40-hour week, the option to work up to two days remotely, and a comprehensive benefits package are

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and related documentation.

• Supporting monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Collaborating with other departments to validate financial information.

Our partner, an international technology group based near La-Roche-en-Ardenne, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen its Finance team.

You will join an organisation bringing together more than 30 nationalities , while becoming part of a close-knit Finance team where you will receive genuine support and guidance.

The objective is not to keep you focused on one area of accounting indefinitely. While the Accountant position will initially have a stronger focus on purchase accounting, you will have the opportunity to progressively broaden your scope and responsibilities.

As an Accountant , you will actively contribute to the company's day-to-day accounting activities and will be responsible for:

• Managing, checking and processing supplier invoices;


• Preparing and reviewing the relevant accounting documentation;


• Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations;


• Reviewing and analysing employee expenses;


• Following up on income and expenditure accounts;


• Working closely with other departments to collect and validate financial information;


• Actively contributing to monthly, quarterly and annual closings ;


• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of accounting data recorded in the ERP;


• Gradually taking ownership of additional accounting responsibilities as you develop within the position.

• Experience: You have accounting experience, ideally between 1 and 5 years , gained either in-house or within an accounting firm. More experienced candidates may also be considered.


• Languages: You are fluent in French and have sufficient English skills to comfortably read and write professional documents.


• Qualifications: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification . Experience with an ERP, particularly SAP S/4HANA or Exact, is an advantage but not a requirement.
