EVERLAND is seeking a rigorous and reliable Accountant in Belgium to join their corporate finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily accounting operations, month-end closings, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least three years of relevant experience. Fluency in French and English is essential, while knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.

The successful candidate will contribute to daily accounting operations, month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and respect of internal procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, review, and control daily accounting entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations and justify balances.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist with VAT returns and other routine tax-related obligations.
• Contribute to accounting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a corporate environment.

Profile Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Previous experience in a corporate environment is required.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Well-organised, rigorous, and able to manage priorities effectively.
• Able to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration.
