Job summary

MANAWISE Care in Brisbane North, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis, with 56 or 72 hours per fortnight. You’ll work across Narangba, Morayfield, Warner, North Lakes and Albany Creek to support young people.

You will help young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, nurturing environment, building resilience and life skills, and collaborating with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in Youth Work or Child Safety, or related field.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class).
• First Aid & CPR certification and Blue Card.
• National Police Check within 6 months or readiness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive and structured home environment.
• Build strong relationships with young people and support development.
• Support emotional, social and life skill growth.
• Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans.
• Complete daily documentation and reports.
