Job summary

Community Living Options (CLO) is seeking a Youth Worker to support young people in a residential setting with gentle, trauma‑informed practices. You will provide direct day‑to‑day support, help create a safe and nurturing environment, and contribute to education, life skills and social development.

We offer 2:1 supports, part‑time shifts, induction and training, buddy shifts, and ongoing professional development in a values‑driven organisation. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering direct day‑to‑day support to young people in residential care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of trauma‑informed care and supportive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct day‑to‑day support to young people in the program.
• Contribute to a safe, structured environment.
• Support education, life skills, social and recreational development.
• Undertake case related tasks in line with individual support plans.
• Liaise with schools, government departments and external services as required.
• Complete documentation and administrative tasks accurately.
