Job summary

Community Living Options (CLO) is seeking caring Support Workers to assist a woman with a disability in achieving her goals. The role focuses on 1:1 support, daily living assistance, and fostering independence in a safe, respectful environment.

This casual position offers 3–4 overnight shifts per fortnight, training, buddy shifts, and opportunities to contribute to a supportive team. Applicants without formal qualifications are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening is required.
• Working with Children Check is required.
• A current Driver’s License is required.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates are required.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or similar qualification is preferred; we also welcome applicants without qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to the participant throughout the day.
• Assist with day-to-day living, including cooking and meal preparation, household tasks, and supporting decision making.
• Build a respectful, trusted relationship and support independence and preferences.

Hi! I’m a woman in my 30s with a physical and psychosocial disability, looking for friendly and reliable Support Workers to support me in achieving my goals.

My family and children are very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with them. I love music, especially singing along to my favourite songs, and I enjoy wearing make-up and stylish clothes to feel confident. I also like baking and cooking and would enjoy support in these activities.

I’m looking for someone kind, patient, and positive who can support my independence, respect my choices, and build a genuine connection with me.

Your Role in My Journey

An Opportunityis availableto join my team and help to facilitatemy daily life. My support workers assist me on a 1 to 1 basis throughout the day. I am independent and do most things myself however I require assistance with day to day living which includes cooking and meal preparation, household tasks and supporting me with my decision making.I am seeking a Support Worker who is wanting to join a team environment and is passionate about helping people.

Your Schedule with Me

This role will be on a casual basis but it does require the availability to work 3 -4 passive overnights in a fortnight.
