Job summary

Community Living Options in Edwardstown is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help people with disability achieve greater independence, participation and quality of life. You will conduct assessments, develop and deliver person-centred therapy plans, and recommend assistive technology and environmental modifications.

You will prepare high-quality reports, collaborate with families and health professionals, and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings while maintaining professional standards in

Qualifications

  • NDIS requirements and funding processes
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA (desirable)
  • Working with Children Check (SA)
  • Driver's license and willingness to obtain additional assessments if required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct OT assessments to identify strengths, goals and support needs
  • Develop person-centred therapy plans to promote independence and safety
  • Recommend assistive technology and home/vehicle/environment modifications
  • Provide education and capacity-building to individuals, families and support teams
  • Prepare high-quality assessments, progress notes and NDIA reports
  • Collaborate with families, carers and health professionals to coordinate supports
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain professional, ethical and regulatory standards
