Job summary

Parkville College is seeking a skilled professional to engage and support students at Cherry Creek Youth Justice Precinct, developing pathways for education, training and employment. You will build holistic transition plans to help each student move from custody into the community.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners, delivering reports and maintaining data while working across campuses and potentially across holiday periods.

Qualifications

• Experience working with marginalised young people and families.
• Proven ability to develop holistic educational and employment pathways.
• Collaborative approach with DE, DJCS, DFFH and families.
• Knowledge of Victorian education system and youth justice pathways.
• Ability to work in high‑pressure, demand-driven settings.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Parkville College students to explore education and employment paths.
• Develop holistic transition plans from custody to community.
• Liaise with schools, providers and families to enable enrolment.
• Provide reports and insights to leadership and partners.
• Maintain up-to-date records and data on transitions.
• Support outreach across campuses as needed.
