Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in tenancy or property management is preferred.
• Familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act and tenancy processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Ability to relate to young people and families from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tenants are aware of their rights and obligations related to tenancy.
• Liaise with property maintenance bodies to monitor repairs and ensure timely completion.
• Inform staff and management about tenancy issues and policy updates.
• Develop up-to-date information on RTA procedures and tenancy issues.
• Assist in developing tenancy and property management infrastructure and processes.
• Establish relationships with young people using conflict resolution and negotiation.
• Organise ongoing maintenance and upkeep of properties.
• Carry out property inspections and test smoke alarms regularly.
• Assist to establish and finalise tenancies in accordance with the RTA.
• Maintain property inventories and conduct checks.
