Job summary

Anglicare Central Queensland is seeking a Youth Support Worker for our Longreach team. The role focuses on empowering young people aged 12-21 who are at risk of disconnecting from family, community or support networks, delivering casemanagement and targeted support.

You will help youths access housing, education, employment and community engagement, while supporting cultural connection, recording high‑quality data, and contributing to program outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in a discipline relating to the Behavioural Sciences or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide casemanagement and individualised support to young people withcomplex needs
• Facilitate accessto secure housing, education, employment, and communityengagement
• Support culturalconnection and reduce risk-taking behaviours
• Collaborate withfamilies, schools, and community services
• Maintainhigh-quality records and contribute to programoutcomes
• Deliver earlyintervention strategies and therapeutic support
