Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in youth, community, recreation, education or related settings.
• Experience supporting programs, activities or events.
• Strong administration, organisational and record-keeping skills.

• Ability to build positive relationships with young people.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Understanding of child safety, duty of care and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of youth activities, workshops, events and excursions.
• Welcome and engage participants in a positive and inclusive manner.
• Assist with participant registrations, attendance records and program documentation.
• Prepare activity spaces, equipment and resources.
• Maintain safe, clean and welcoming environments.
• Assist with program logistics, bookings and resource management.
• Monitor participant wellbeing and elevate concerns where required.
• Contribute to child-safe and culturally safe practices.
