Job summary

BUSY At Work in Toowoomba is seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator for a full-time, 10-month contract to support the Young Women in Construction initiative.

You will mentor participants, coordinate workshops and work closely with community organisations and employers to create pathways into education, training or employment.

Applicants with qualifications in Social Work, Youth Work or related fields, and experience with youth engagement will be favoured.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in youth engagement, mentoring, or community services.
• Ability to build rapport with young people and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of VET pathways and education systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualised action plans for participants.
• Facilitate program activities and group workshops.
• Coordinate work experience and employment opportunities for participants.
• Liaise with employers and employment service providers to identify pathways.
