Job summary

The BUSY Group is recruiting a Program Facilitator for Townsville City on a full-time fixed-term 10-month contract. You will mentor participants, coordinate workshops, and connect young people with education, training and employment pathways within the construction and trades sectors.

Desirable qualifications include Social Work, Youth Work or related fields, with 2+ years in youth engagement. You will build relationships with community organisations, RTOs and employers while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Experience in youth engagement and mentoring.
• Ability to build rapport with young people and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of VET pathways and education systems.
• Open driver’s licence and clear safety checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualised action plans for participants.
• Facilitate program activities and workshops.
• Coordinate work experience and employment opportunities.
• Liaise with employers and service providers to identify pathways.
• Maintain participant records in line with funding and contractual requirements.
