Relationships Australia Victoria is seeking a Youth Access Worker for the headspace Wonthaggi centre to join a multidisciplinary team supporting 12–25 year olds on their mental health journey.

The role involves screening, assessments, referrals, brief interventions and care coordination, with risk assessments and collaboration with the clinical team to promote safety and wellbeing. Evening shift and four days per week apply.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in screening to determine client needs and access to services.
• Experience working with youth and/or mental health services.
• Desirable: registration with AHPRA or AASW membership.

Aufgaben

• Provide screening, assessments, referrals, brief interventions and care coordination for young people (12–25).
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement safety strategies.
• Collaborate with clinical team and participate in case discussions and supervision.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
• Support clients to access appropriate services and sustain engagement.

Bachelor degree in health, behavioural or social sciences or related discipline
