Job summary

Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) is seeking a motivated Youth Access Worker for our Wonthaggi centre. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering screening, assessments, referrals and brief interventions tailored to each young person’s needs.

This part-time (0.8FTE) role includes four days per week with one evening shift; you’ll undertake risk assessments and contribute to clinical supervision and coordinated care. The base salary range is $101,948 – $109,287 pro-rata per annum.

Qualifications

• Degree in health, behavioural or related discipline with youth risk assessment knowledge.
• Experience screening clients to determine needs and access services.
• Experience in youth or mental health sector; registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessments, referrals, and brief interventions for youth 12–25.
• Carry out risk assessments and safety planning with young people.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with clinical team for evidence-based care.
