Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a 0.6 FTE Caseworker PO3 DFV to support and case manage young people affected by domestic and family violence within the High-Risk Team and Youth Justice Service Centre network across Brisbane and Moreton Bay.

The role requires a relevant tertiary degree, an unrestricted C Class driver’s licence, a Blue Card, and pre‑employment checks. You will help develop processes, tools and reporting protocols to deliver coordinated, timely services.

Qualifications

• Requires tertiary degree in social work, behavioural science or related field.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence (C Class) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best practice statutory casework services to young people affected by DFV within the Youth Justice Service Centre network.
• Design, implement and review youth justice responses to DFV and strengthen referral pathways.
• Develop reporting systems to monitor the Domestic and Family Violence Integrated Response.
• Promote use of assessment tools to refer high‑risk cases to the High‑Risk Team.
• Prepare information for Children’s Court and liaise with stakeholders as required.
• Establish partnerships with internal and external service providers across local areas.
