Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC – Mildura VIC is seeking a full-time VPS3 administrator to support the Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct with high-quality financial and administrative services. The role requires coordinating records, fleet, assets, travel and ministerial correspondence, while maintaining strong customer service across the branch.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Victorian government operating practices and information systems.
• Experience with invoice processing and accounts payable.
• Experience with contract management and accounts payable systems such as Zycus and Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality administrative services that support the operational needs of the Malmsbury Youth Justice Precinct, stakeholders and young people.
• Effectively manage a range of office processes, including records, financial information, fleet and assets, travel and accommodation, staff onboarding and offboarding and ministerial correspondence.
• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day office administration services such as purchasing, invoice processing and supplier engagement, financial reconciliation and purchasing card reconciliations.
• Support procurement and contract management processes, including preparing documentation and administering contracts as required.
• Manage young people's valuables and earnings, banking and cash records, mail distribution and phone systems.
