St Francis Xavier College in Canberra is seeking a Year Coordinator (7–12) to lead a year group with a focus on pastoral care and student wellbeing. This temporary role will support the College leadership team and report to the Assistant Principal and Principal, aligning with the College’s mission.
Starting 25 January 2027, the appointment is a full-time 12-month contract with eligibility for family-friendly benefits and professional development opportunities within the Archdiocese.
Salary Range: $154,326 plus superannuation

About the Role
The Year Coordinator plays a vital role in the College and will be committed to the vision of the College ‘Living the truth, leading with courage, learning for life’ and is invested in and will promote the mission of Catholic Education. Year Coordinators provide expert leadership of a year group and utilise current research, evidence and innovative practice in pastoral care and student wellbeing to meet the needs of our learners 7 -12. As a member of the Leadership team, the Coordinator reports to the Assistant Principal and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College.
This appointment is temporary to replace an employee on leave.
