Catholic Schools Broken Bay invites applications for a permanent Year 7 Coordinator who will teach a blend of English, HSIE, PDHPE and Mathematics. The role supports the development of Siena Catholic College, a new K-12 pathway on the North Shore, with a focus on safeguarding and high-quality learning.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, participate in the Continuous Improvement Cycle, and contribute to extracurricular life while benefiting from a four-year training qualification

• Proven track record coordinating a cohort of students to support participation across College life
• Highly effective classroom practitioner with commitment to Catholic schooling ethos
• Ability to contribute to Continuous Improvement Cycle and student achievement
• Sound pedagogical practices to engage diverse learners
• Ability to analyse student data to drive growth
• Strong understanding of student welfare and safe learning environments
• Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school community
• Commitment to safeguarding as a shared responsibility and child safety
• Collaborative work with a professional learning community
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a Year 7 cohort to support engagement in all aspects of College life
• Deliver a mix of English, HSIE, PDHPE and Mathematics as required
• Contribute to continuous improvement and student achievement goals
• Analyse student data to guide instruction and learning growth
• Collaborate with staff to support a safe, engaging learning environment
• Support extracurricular programs and school community activities
