Job summary

Pedare, located in Golden Grove, Adelaide's north-east, seeks a Year 6 Coordinator to lead wellbeing and personal development for Year 6 students. You'll work with Year 6 Core Teachers and the Pastoral Care Team to deliver targeted programs and maintain strong ties with families.

The role requires a current SA Teaching Registration, WWCC, RRHAN certificate, and a commitment to after-hours availability. Some out-of-hours work and a three-year tenure with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian Teacher Registration is required.
• WWCC clearance is mandatory.
• RRHAN certificate is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Academic transcripts and qualifications to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Know every Year 6 student and promote growth and wellbeing with Year 6 Core Teachers.
• Develop proactive programs to support student wellbeing.
• Identify and manage at-risk students.
• Provide leadership to Year 6 Core Teachers.
• Monitor academic performance via assessments and reports.
• Collaborate with Pedare staff and communicate with families.
