Job summary

Marshall Timber Traders in Chinderah is seeking a casual yard worker to assist with timber handling and order fulfillment. The role involves moving stock, loading trucks, and maintaining a tidy timber yard.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of timber or building materials, holds a forklift licence (or is prepared to obtain one), and is physically capable of manual handling. A valid driver’s licence with a reliable vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Timber or building materials knowledge is preferred.
• Forklift licence essential; willingness to obtain licence.
• Physically fit for manual labour including timber handling.
• Current driver’s licence with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders.
• Wrapping and strapping timber.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Organising and moving stock around the yard.
• Placing stock onto racks.
• Keeping timber yard clean.

Casual Role - 8 hours a day, 3-5 days a week (24-40 hours)

• Picking Orders
• Wrapping and Strapping Timber
• Loading and unloading Trucks
• Organising and moving stock around the yard
• Placing stock onto racks
• Keeping Timber Yard clean

About you

• Some knowledge of Timber or Building Materials
• Forklift Licence essential (need to be prepared to obtain this licence)
• Physically fit to carry out manual labour (manually handling timber)
• Current Drivers Licence with reliable vehicle
