Job summary

Culoul Sawmills, a family-owned business based in Colo Heights NSW, is seeking a yardman for a casual role 32 hours per week. Shift Mon-Thu, 7am–4pm, with the option to move to permanent/part-time.

This role involves manual timber stacking, machine operation, and loading and tidying the yard. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Good communication and work ethic.
• Experience with physical/manual work (lifting, standing, bending).
• A current driver's licence and own transport; local public transport does not service the area.
• Forklift license and machine operation experience is preferable but not essential.

• Binding and strapping timber packs
• Loading of trucks & vehicles
• General tidying and maintenance of the workplace

About you

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Great communication skills and work ethics
• Recent experience in a job that involves physical work, lifting, bending, being on your feet
• A current driver's licence and own transport, as local public transport does not service the area
• Forklift license & experience in machine operations preferable but not essential
