Job summary

Complete Metal Industries in NSW Sydney is seeking a hands-on Yard Coordinator / Forklift Operator to lead daily yard activities at our scrap metal recycling facility. You'll be out in the yard, coordinating truck movements, guiding drivers and occasionally operating a forklift to move materials.

This role requires clear two-way radio communication, strong safety awareness, and the ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Excellent communicator, especially over two-way radio.
• Energetic, organised and safety-focused.
• Able to prioritise multiple truck movements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing truck movements throughout the yard.
• Direct drivers to loading, unloading and processing areas.
• Operate forklifts to move, load and unload materials.
• Monitor traffic flow and prevent congestion.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards across the site.
• Communicate clearly using two-way radio.
