Job summary

InfraBuild Recycling, based at Botany in Australia, is hiring for an Operator to perform yard duties and operate mobile plant within a safety-focused environment.

The role offers permanent full-time hours, training across other mobile plant such as excavators, and clear opportunities for career progression in a fast-paced recycling setting.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential and must be current.
• Experience with excavators is advantageous.
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas.
• Conduct daily checks on mobile plant.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Botany site, the Operator will perform a range of duties within the metal recycling yard. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression, including the opportunity to be trained across other mobile plant, such as excavators.

Pay rate for this role is $34.90 per hour.

What you will be doing:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
• Maintaining cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
• Conducting daily checks on mobile plant
• Adhering to safety procedures at all times

• Forklift licence and experience is essential
