Job summary

Wombat Equipment Hire in Hervey Bay seeks a Yard hand/Machinery Mechanic to maintain excavators, skid steers, trailers and attachments, ensuring they are clean and ready for hire.

You will perform inspections, servicing, fault finding and records, working hands-on with earthmoving equipment and diesel hydraulics in a outdoor setting. A practical, safety-conscious person with a current licence is preferred; experience with earthmoving gear is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience with earthmoving machinery, excavators and skid steers.
• Current driver’s licence required.

Yard hand/Machinery Mechanic - Earthmoving equipment hire

You will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our hire fleet, helping ensure our excavators, skid steers, trailers and attachments are maintained to a high standard and ready when our customers need them. This is a hands-on and varied position for someone who enjoys working with machinery and takes pride in keeping equipment well maintained, clean and ready for hire.
