Job summary

Garden City Landscape Centre in Toowoomba QLD is seeking a reliable Customer Service pro / Yard hand to join our busy landscape supplies yard. You will help customers, keep the yard organized, and ensure deliveries go out on time and in good shape.

You will work hands-on with the team in a friendly environment, participating in daily yard operations, stock control and safety practices to support a well-run site.

Qualifications

• Loader licence (Desirable) and Heavy Rigid licence (HR) preferred.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
• Basic computer or phone handling skills for taking calls and entering orders.
• Previous experience in a similar role or landscape/building supplies yard is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers in person, via phone and email to take orders and provide product suggestions for their projects.
• Coordinate daily yard operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Schedule and oversee deliveries and collections to and from the site.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders and manage inventory accuracy.
• Ensure everyone on site has the knowledge and equipment they need to work safely.
• Assist with rostering and task allocation.
• Work collaboratively with sales and office staff to meet customer and business needs.
• Maintain yard layout, signage and product displays for efficient access and visual appeal.

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Customer Service pro / Yard hand to join our friendly team at Garden City Landscape Centre, a busy, well established, landscape supplies yard.

In this role, you’ll be a key player in keeping our customer interactions and yard running smoothly. You’ll work hands‑on with the team, helping customers, keeping things organised, and making sure deliveries go out on time and in good shape. What you will be doing
