Hub Australia is seeking a Workspace Experience Associate (Barista) for our Sydney Martin Place clubhouse. You will energise our clubhouse, manage cafe operations, and deliver personalised experiences to members and guests. The role blends hospitality with a corporate environment, offering growth in a dynamic team.

You’ll lead beverage service, handle inquiries, and support events while maintaining high service standards and a warm, welcoming atmosphere for a diverse member base.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably hospitality or retail.
• Barista experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Job Description

We’re looking for a spiritedWorkspace Experience Associate (Barista) to energise our clubhouse! This role is an exceptional opportunity for those seeking a meaningful and dynamic career shift into a corporate environment while capitalising on their hospitality and customer service skills where no two days are the same! This role will be based in our Martin Place clubhouse in Sydney where you will be taking the lead on all things cafe!

What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to!):

• As the welcoming face of our workspace, you'll create personalised experiences for members and guests.
• Showcase your barista artistry by preparing a variety of beverages and managing the day-to-day operations of our cafe.
• Manage day-to-day member and guest questions, enquiries, booking requests, mail etc. including in person and through the clubhouse email inbox promptly - be the problem solver and assist our members with any issues!
• Play a crucial role in organising and executing workplace events. From small meetings to larger gatherings, your involvement will ensure each event is a hit, marked by seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inventory checks for food, consumables, and clubhouse supplies. Your attention here ensures we’re always stocked and ready to meet our members' needs.
• Assist with aspects of our workspace's day-to-day operations such as opening and closing procedures and conducting space checks etc!

Qualifications

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar service-oriented sector.
• Experience as a barista within a fast-paced environment.
• Strongly embodies a customer-centric and hospitality-led mindset, adapting to the needs and preferences of guests to enhance their overall experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and pragmatic approach, always maintaining a positive and solution-focused mindset in addressing challenges
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proficient multitasking abilities, maintaining focus and productivity in a dynamic environment.
• A genuine passion for building relationships, with a strong ability to bring warmth to every interaction and effectively build rapport and foster strong relationships.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain RSA and Food Handling Certificate
