Job summary

Hub Australia is seeking a proactive Workspace Experience Coordinator (Barista) for our Flinders St clubhouse in Melbourne. This part-time role suits hospitality professionals transitioning to a corporate environment, with a focus on member service and café operations.

You’ll greet members, craft beverages, help run events, and manage stock. Availability Tue-Fri 8:30-2pm or Mon-Fri 7:30-2pm preferred; RSA and Food Handling certifications are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role, preferably hospitality or retail.
• At least 2 years as a Barista in a high-volume cafe.
• Willing to obtain RSA and Food Handling Certificates.
• Available Mon-Fri from 7:30am-2pm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create personalised experiences for members and guests.
• Prepare a variety of beverages and manage café operations with flair.

We’re looking for a spirited Workspace Experience Coordinator (Barista) to energise our clubhouse! This role is an exceptional opportunity for those seeking a meaningful and dynamic career shift into a corporate environment while capitalising on their hospitality and customer service skills where no two days are the same! We are currently looking for part-time and casual team members.

We're currently looking for a part-time team member for our Flinders St location, available Tues-Fri, 8:30-2pm, and casual team members willing to work across our Melbourne locations with a range of availability.

What your day-to-day will look like (but not limited to!):

• As the welcoming face of our workspace, you'll create personalised experiences for members and guests.
• Showcase your barista artistry by preparing a variety of beverages and managing the day-to-day operations of our cafe with flair and precision.
• Play a crucial role in organising and executing workplace events. From small meetings to larger gatherings, your involvement will ensure each event is a hit, marked by seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular inventory checks for food, consumables, and clubhouse supplies. Your attention here ensures we’re always stocked and ready to meet our members' needs.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or a similar service-oriented sector.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Barista in a high volume cafe!
• Ideally be available Mon - Fri from 7:30am - 2pm
• Strongly embodies a customer centric and hospitality-led mindset, adapting to the needs and preferences of guests to enhance their overall experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging with members, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proficient multitasking abilities, maintaining focus and productivity in a dynamic environment.
• A genuine passion for building relationships, with a strong ability to bring warmth to every interaction and effectively build rapport and foster strong relationships.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain RSA and Food Handling Certificate.
