Job summary

Superboom is looking for a Workshop & Yard Handyman to join the Moorebank site workshop team. You will perform general maintenance, minor repairs and assist with workshop activities, working closely with the Workshop Mechanic.

This hands-on role requires a practical approach, ability to work independently and strong safety awareness, with duties including stocking, housekeeping and assisting with parts deliveries.

Job description

This is a newly created position for a Workshop & Yard Handyman to join the workshop team at the Moorebank site. As a key support person within the team, you will be responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs, site upkeep and assisting with workshop activities. You will work closely with the Workshop Mechanic and become a trusted go-to person for a variety of practical tasks.

Key responsibilities

Perform general maintenance on plant and equipment, including cleaning, refuelling and minor repairs.

Provide hands‑on support to the Workshop Mechanic as required.

Maintain and organise tools, equipment and workshop areas.

Order parts and maintain appropriate stock levels of workshop supplies.

Assist with parts collection, deliveries and general errands as required.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the workshop and yard.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards, incidents or maintenance issues promptly.

Assist with other general workshop and site maintenance duties as required.

About you

Previous experience in a handyman, general maintenance, or workshop role is ideal.

A practical, hands‑on approach with the ability to work independently.

Good knowledge and confidence using hand tools and general maintenance equipment.

Strong housekeeping and organisational skills.

Good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.

Clear communication skills and a positive, can‑do attitude.

A HR Licence, or willingness to obtain one.

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
