Job summary

Freighter Group in Brooklyn, Victoria, is seeking a reliable Workshop / Yard Driver to support trailer movements, workshop operations and yard activities in a busy dealership environment. • Experience operating or moving trailers, heavy vehicles or transport equipment.

• Strong communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
• A willingness to assist across workshop and yard operations as needed.
• Experience in a transport, manufacturing, workshop or dealership environment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers safely between the workshop, yard and designated storage areas.
• Positioning trailers for workshop repairs, servicing and inspections.
• Assisting with trailer loading, unloading and yard movements.
• Preparing new and used trailers for customer collection and handover.
• Conducting pre-movement and general safety checks on trailers and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard environment.
• Supporting workshop technicians and parts personnel with general duties as required.
• Assisting with occasional trailer deliveries and collections when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Workshop / Yard Driver to join our dealership in Brooklyn, Victoria. This hands‑on role is responsible for supporting workshop operations through the safe movement of trailers, maintaining yard presentation and assisting the Service, Parts and Sales teams with day‑to‑day operational requirements.
