Job summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Workshop / Yard Driver to join our dealership in Brooklyn, Victoria. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting workshop operations through the safe movement of trailers, maintaining yard presentation and assisting the Service, Parts and Sales teams with day-to-day operational requirements.

About the Role

• Moving trailers safely between the workshop, yard and designated storage areas.
• Positioning trailers for workshop repairs, servicing and inspections.
• Assisting with trailer loading, unloading and yard movements.
• Preparing new and used trailers for customer collection and handover.
• Conducting pre-movement and general safety checks on trailers and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard environment.
• Supporting workshop technicians and parts personnel with general duties as required.
• Assisting with occasional trailer deliveries and collections when required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current HC Licence (essential).
• A strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Experience operating or moving trailers, heavy vehicles or transport equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude.
• A willingness to assist across workshop and yard operations as needed.
• Experience in a transport, manufacturing, workshop or dealership environment (preferred).
